Peshawar
Ever watched Kite Runner and wanted to see where they filmed the movie? Well that was in China (fun fact) but if you want to see authentic pashtun villages look no further! You'll probably want to go with a friend who's native to that area so that you can navigate safely and enjoy the actual trip. If you want to see the greatest hospitality given by people who almost have nothing compared to you, than go here! You'll also realize most of the stereotypes about Muslims are completely false, almost everybody here is so humble and nice it warms your heart. Makes your realize how different cultures live and what their values are. Very eye opening experience. But besides all that, there's also the beautiful and historic Islamia College, and also Khyber Pass which they say Alexander the Great used to conquer Persia!
